Dann and I were looking in the newspaper to see what churches were in the Lehigh Valley when we stumbled across a small ad for a church in a movie theatre. The words that first attracted us were "contemporary music" but as we left that place after our first Sunday, we found ourselves using words like "genuine, real, and honest" when describing our experience there. We felt like Hope emitted an essence of "hope" and we were very excited about Pastor Dan and the people working with and surrounding him.

Over the last 5 years we have made many friends at Hope—some have moved away but will always be a part of our family, others continue to grow at different places each year. When we walk into church on Sunday, we feel like we are walking into our family home and that's what we think church should feel like.

Dann got involved in music and sound right from the start and I got involved in Promiseland. Sometime down the line we decided to open our house to a Life Group. We have seen many different people come and go from this group. Over the years, everyone who attended or visited this Life Group, brought with them different life perspectives and life experiences that affected us all in one way or another. Some really good friendships have formed from this group and we know that we will always eat well and have a good time when we get together.

We are very excited to see what God has in store for Hope. It has grown so much from the first time that we walked into the theatre doors. Wherever God takes us, we will be here to grow with it and be apart of it.
